Happy New Year!
Wishing you all a year full of wonder!
Can you believe it's 2016? Wow! I celebrated New Year's Eve last night building a Lego Millennium Falcon (anyone else obsessed with Star Wars and the latest film, The Force Awakens??) and watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as you can see.
I really know how to party hard! But it felt like a good way to bring in 2016. I'll be spending today completing my Millennium Falcon and watching whatever is marathoning on TV...so obviously I've set the tone for the rest of the year. But hopefully with more reading and reviewing!
I've been thinking about New Year's Resolutions. I'm pretty terrible at sticking to personal ones, to be honest, but I figure I'll aim for some bookish ones!
This year I'd like to:
- Read 150 books
- Complete all of the reading challenges I sign up for
- Organise my blog posts in advance
- Keep on top of ARCs - no reading and reviewing them late!
How's that? Seems simple enough, right? I set myself a goal last year to read 89 books and I actually read 101, so I'm shooting even higher for 2016! Technically I'm already failing that last resolution as I have a few ARCs I'm behind on from last month...but fingers crossed I get them completed this week and then I can go from there!
How did you celebrate New Year's Eve? Do you have any New Year's Resolutions?
