Waiting on Summer of Supernovas by Darcy Woods

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine. It spotlights soon to be released books that can't come quick enough!

What's sounding good this week is...

Summer of Supernovas by Darcy Woods

Publisher: Crown Books for Young Reads
Published Date: 10 May 2016
Pre-Order: Amazon | The Book Depository | Dymocks Australia

As the daughter of an expert astrologer, Wilamena Carlisle knows that the truth lies within the stars. So when she discovers a rare planetary alignment, she is forced to tackle her worst astrological fear – The Fifth House of Relationships and Love. But Wil must decide whether a cosmically doomed love is worth rejecting her mother’s legacy, when she falls for a sensitive guitar player hailing from the wrong side of the chart.

Debut author Darcy Woods explores love in all its complexities and how to best honor the loved ones who have passed before us, in a novel packed with both humor and heart.
(summary from Goodreads)

I always enjoy a good contemporary romance and this one sounds cute. I like the idea of astrology being a big part of it.

What new book have you discovered this week?

  6. Hi, there! So sorry for the late comment back.....I was a little busy.

This sounds like such a delightful treat! I've never heard of it before, so it's a pleasant surprise, too! I LOVE that cover, and the title is just incredible! And, of course, I know the plot will be full of humor, as well as great romance! The astrology angle is very interesting, as well.

So here's another GREAT read for my Goodreads TBR shelves!! Thanks for putting this on my radar! Thanks too for commenting on my own WOW!! : )
