Bout of Books Read-A-Thon: Monday Update

Bout of Books

Day One of the Bout of Books Read-a-Thon is completed and I am not entirely on track, boo. But I'm not too surprised. Hopefully today is a better reading day!

Number of Books I Read Yesterday:

Eh, about 20% each of two different books. So almost half a book, which isn't too bad.

Total Number of Books Read So Far:

Nearly 0.5

Books Read:

Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Sume - 20%
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia - 20%

I'm hoping to finish both of those books today which will put me on track to my goal!

How did your first day of reading go?

Bout of Books 14 goals + daily updates

    1. Thanks, Ariel. I loved Made You Up, but Imaginary Girls I had a few issues with. Still, Suma's writing is stunning and it was worth reading for that. I hope you're enjoying the read-a-thon. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Yay, 20% of 2 books. Thats great progress. Ive not really heard of either of these though...maybe Imaginary Girls...it sounds vaguely familiar. hmmm. Good luck on day 2.

    1. Thanks! I went on to finish them too, so yay! :-D Imaginary Girls was getting a lot of hype a few years back, so maybe you heard about it then? It's been on my shelf for much too long so I'm glad to have finally read it! Happy reading!

  3. Great progress. How is Made You Up so far? I've wanted to pick the book up so would like to know what you think of it. All the best for Day 2!!

    1. Thanks so much, Chetana! I highly recommend Made You Up, I loved it! It was such a surprising read. I hope you enjoy it too when you read it. :-D Good luck for the rest of the read-a-thon!
