ARC August: Week 1

Week 1 of Read.Sleep.Repeat's ARC August is done and dusted. Unfortunately I'm not off to the greatest of starts, but I started and that counts for something in these woods!

I read 2 ARCs! Yay! The downside is that neither of them are on my original goal list, but tiny details. I only received them this week and was just so excited I had to read them immediately.

So, onto the necessary information!

Number of ARCs Read:

2! Woohoo!

ARCs Read:

Mosquitoland by David Arnold
Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines

I enjoyed both of these books immensely and will hopefully have reviews posted next week. Keep an eye out here! If you're a fellow ARC August participant, let me know how your first week went. In the meantime, on with ARC August!

  1. I didn't like Until Friday Night. I had some issues with it. I read a few arcs as well. Great start.

    1. It's funny, while I realised I had some issues with Until Friday Night, at the time of writing this update I still thought I'd really enjoyed it. West's father's passing got to me. But as I was writing my review, that's pretty much the only good thing I could say. So it turns out I didn't much enjoy it either. I had serious issues with the characters. Too many of them were douches.

Thanks, Grace! Good luck with this week's reading. :-D

    1. Thanks, Kim. Though it actually turns out I really only liked one, haha! I put too much stock into my immediate impression of Until Friday Night, unfortunately. :-( But here's hoping I keep enjoying the rest of the ARCs I have to read. Good luck to you too!
