Feature & Follow Friday: Reoccurring dreams

Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by Rachel over at Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. This is a chance to get to know fellow book bloggers and have them meet you. Be sure to pop over and meet this week's featured bloggers!

Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?

More reoccurring nightmares actually. Though now that I'm thinking about it I haven't had one in ages! I used to have these a lot. The first, I was at my Primary School wondering around the playground - no idea why - and it would start to rain. But not just any rain - acid rain. I'd keep trying to get undercover but something would always get in my way. When I'd finally make it under a walkway, the acid rain was too severe and would be burning through the concrete. I'd wake up then. The second, I'm running through an old, dark warehouse that goes on and on. I know I'm being chased by someone with a knife, but I don't see them. I just keep running. At some stage I remember that I'm in a wheelchair and shouldn't be able to run, so I start stumbling. I fall over and can't get up, and whoever is chasing me jumps on me. I know I'm about to be stabbed and that's the moment I always wake up.

Not very nice, huh? I honestly don't think I've ever had a lovely reoccurring dream! At least not that I can remember. I suppose scary nightmares stick in your mind more clearly though. Those two nightmares I remember vividly because I had them so often. Thinking about that last one, I often dream about walking or running and then realising I shouldn't be because I'm in a wheelchair - funny how the brain works, huh? Logical even in a dream!

Do you have any reoccurring dreams?

  3. Recurring scary dreams are not something I'd want to have. I will say though that both of these could be books and be very interesting! Old follower.

    1. It was no fun, that's for sure! I always had terrible nightmares growing up. It's not too bad these days. If I ever decide to write I might just take your advice, thanks...something good out of them, at least! :-D

    1. Sometimes I wish I didn't! I especially hate waking up from a bad dream and then going back to sleep and straight back into the same dream. Thank you for stopping by and for following!
