Feature & Follow Friday: Character inspiration

Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee over at Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. This is a chance to get to know fellow book bloggers and have them meet you. Be sure to pop over and meet this week's featured bloggers!

Have you ever been inspired by a book character to do something? Who was the character and what was it?
(Suggested by Eternity Through Pages)

I've been wracking my brain for the littlest thing so I didn't have to give another boring "nope" answer, and finally! I have a couple! They're only silly, really, but still! I was inspired to try knitting by Scottie and the girls of Elizabeth Lenhard's It's a Purl Thing, and to buy a military-esque style jacket thanks to Lola of Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.

So what about you? Ever been inspired to do something thanks to a book character?

  1. I don't think they're silly at all. Well, maybe the jacket, but not the knitting. I wish I knew how to do it.

    1. I'm not very good at the knitting unfortunately, don't practice enough! I hope to be getting back to it soon though. :-) Thanks for stopping by!
