Teaser Tuesday! (20)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give away too much! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake

"She's gone in a twist of black hair and red blood, pale skin and teeth. There's a moment of silence and we listen to the drip, drip, drip of her dress." p. 142 (quote from ARC)

I only have a few chapters left of Anna, and I'm loving it! The writing and the story have me holding my breath and biting my lips, it's so creepy and so good. That, and I'm mostly reading it late at night in my pitch black room with nothing but a little book light. Possibly not the best of ideas, seeing as I inevitably jump anytime the house creaks!

What teaser have you shared this week?

  2. Haha now I have to read this in the dark. I don't have the money to buy so, I guess I will have to bug my parents to buy it for me. It sounds like such a interesting book. I love the cover!

Omg, have you seen the sequel's cover yet? It's really gorgeous!! I saw it on goodreads.

    Thanks for the teaser!
