Waiting on Wednesday (18)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine! It spotlights soon to be released books that can't come quick enough!

This week I'm in for quite a long wait for...

Magic Under Stone by Jaclyn Dolamore!

For star-crossed lovers Nimira and Erris, there can be no happily ever after until Erris is freed from the clockwork form in which his soul is trapped. And so they go in search of the sorcerer Ordoria Valdana, hoping he will know how to grant Erris real life again. When they learn that Valdana has mysteriously vanished, it’s not long before Nimira decides to take matters into her own hands—and begins to study the sorcerer’s spell books in secret. Yet even as she begins to understand the power and limitations of sorcery, it becomes clear that freeing Erris will bring danger—if not out-and-out war—as factions within the faerie world are prepared to stop at nothing to prevent him from regaining the throne. (summary from Goodreads)

This is book 2 in the Magic Under series, and I really enjoyed Magic Under Glass so I can't wait for this one. Nimira and Erris are so cute! I just sigh none stop over this series. But why such a long wait? I'm ready now!

Jaclyn Dolamore's Magic Under Stone is expected to be released 10 April 2012.

  7. @Rebs @ Book-Rants I agree! There was a bit of a fiasco with the first book's cover - not representing the fact that Nimira is a person of colour - but I think they have it perfect this time. :-D
