In My Mailbox (15)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren.

I wasn't expecting to have a lot this week, but Big W had a sale going with some great new release titles and I couldn't resist! Also, some of the books I've won through various giveaways arrived! So another fantastic week!

The Golden Door by Emily Rodda
Fateful by Claudia Gray
Hades by Alexandra Adornetto (I am not in love with this cover as much as the motorbike one!)
Blood Red Road by Moira Young
Tiger's Quest by Colleen Houck
Hex Hall 2: Raising Demons by Rachel Hawkins
All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead (ARC) - Many thanks to Flannery of The Readventurer!
Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott - With huge thanks to Elizabeth!

Also Won:

Torchwood: Miracle Day prize pack, consisting of a t-shirt and book, The Men Who Sold the World by Guy Adams. A big thank you to UKTV and BBC Worldwide for this! I spent an hour completing the puzzle again and again (each completion meant an entry), and I was so happy to win! I love the letter too, which states "Captain Jack applauds your truly amazing slider puzzle skills." Oh, yeah! I do love me some Captain Jack!!

This week the Word Play festival is happening as part of the Brisbane Writers Festival, and tomorrow I'll be meeting Emily Rodda and Maggie Stievfater! I cannot wait! I'll be posting about the fun I have later this week, so keep a look out!

  1. I've got a copy of Blood Red Road, but it's not yet read. Hex Hall, you should like a lot; it's very enjoyable and easy-to-read.

  2. Nice mailbox this week. I cannot wait to read Tiger's Quest.
Hope you enjoy your new books,

  3. @TG I've heard good things about Blood Red Road...and I do enjoy dystopia these days. As for Hex Hall, I'm sure I will like it - I just have to get them read!! ;-) As you said, they seem like easy reads, so hopefully soon!

  4. @Kristin The Tiger series sounds fantastic so I can't wait to get it started! :-D

    Thanks for stopping by!
