Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in
question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

Oh! An easy, no need to think about it, question!

Yep, unicorns. I have loved unicorns all of my life. As a child I had a book full of photographs of unicorns that I'd look through over, and over, and over again. I'm pretty sure I still have it, actually. In hindsight, the book is full of photos of horses with fake horns stuck to their heads, but back then I honestly believed unicorns were real...but in hiding. I think I believed in unicorns even after the awful truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy were revealed.

I had unicorn jewellery, unicorn toys - everything unicorns. Oh, unicorns.

So, I'm not very happy with Blogger at the moment! I spent time over the weekend writing and scheduling posts for throughout this week as I knew I wouldn't be able to log in. This was my first time doing this. I had it so one post a day would show up! Lo and behold, I log in tonight and nada. Not one post. Worse, all I could find when I went looking was my Teaser Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday posts - which are now live under past dates! I had two reviews written, one for Monday and another for Thursday, and I'm fuming because they've just disappeared! I've been struggling through a review writing slump the last couple of weeks, so I was so happy to get these done...and now I have to re-write them! I've never had such a problem before, despite seeing many complaints on Twitter. I'd say Blogger definitely needs work regarding scheduling posts! So my apologies for the lack of review posts this week. I'll get them written and up as soon as I'm able!

I feel kind of bad unloading this on my Follow Friday post. I just needed to get it off my chest! Welcome to any new visitors! I hope you like my blog, and if you follow me, I truly appreciate it! It's not like this always, ok? Have a great weekend! And please share what mythical creature you want to come out of the closet!

  1. Ahhh, unicorns are so awesome! I'd love to see those. Could they be made hypoallergenic though? Haha. :D

  2. Oh unicorns are so magical! Also I feel for you in your blogger frustration. I hope things start coming easier:)
    Happy Hopping,

  3. It would be really cool having unicorns in real life!

    Happy Friday!
    Scarlet Letters

  4. I bet those horses wished they were unicorns anyway. And I'm sorry about your blogging troubles...invisible work is worse than no work at all.

PS: I'm a new follower! Please don't be frightened and frivolously check out my Follow Me Friday post . Thanks and farewell!

  5. I love your banner! So cute! :)

Unicorns would be awesome if they were real. I think it would be cool to have a real Pegasus too.

  6. You're banner is adorable!

    Unicorns are awesome :)

That stinks about blogger! Don't feel bad though, everyone needs to rant sometimes! :D

    New follower!

  7. Hopping through. No one loves blogger all the time. I still think it's worth using but it's quite a bother.
    My Hop

  8. @Sophie Gonzales You and me both, Sophie! As for being hypoallergenic, as magical as they are, surely something can be worked out! Lol! ;-)

  9. @Rebecca That they are, Rebecca! And so pretty! :-D

My fingers are crossed Blogger works better, I've just scheduled more posts...and saved them as Word docs too, just in case!

    Thanks for hopping through!

  10. @Shaunna That it would! Thanks for stopping by, Shaunna!

  11. @Uomo di Speranza I bet they did! And thank you - you're exactly right, so it's pretty frustrating!

I'll be sure to check out your post too! Thanks so much for following! :-D

  12. @Jenni Elyse Thank you! You should definitely check out the rest of her artwork, so cute!

Yes to Pegasus too! If only we could make this come true!! :-D

  13. @Katharyn Thank you! Be sure to check out Suzanne Woolcott's website, she does beautiful work!

I do love unicorns! Glad you agree! :-D

Blogger certainly does stink. Hoping for better results this week! Ranting definitely made me feel better! ;-)

    Thanks so much for following!

  14. @Alison Can Read Thanks, Alison. Everything has it's hiccups I suppose, and this is my first major issue, so it's not too bad! :-D

  15. Unicorns would be awesome!! When my house is messy (ie almost always) I wish house elves existed, haha. Terrible, I know.

I have a photo of a deer you might like, it was born with only one horn in the centre of it's head. SO CUTE!

I've never tried scheduling posts, but how frustrating that you worked through your slump only to have the reviews disappear into the great unknown :(

    x D

  16. @:: Lavender's Green :: Unicorns, always! \o/

Don't worry, Dave, you're definitely not the only one who wishes for house elves, lol! We could always pay them, that'd keep any Hermione types off our backs! ;-P

I would love to see this deer photo! Email please! :-D

I tell you, I could've cried! Rewriting them was still hard and took time, which sucked. But I'm getting back into the swing of things, finally! Yay!

    See, proof that unicorns exist!!

  18. @:: Lavender's Green :: N'aww! That is so, so cute! Thanks for sharing, Dave!
