Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
First answer is Harry Potter, which is not a surprise. I always answer these kinds of questions this way! I'd love to be a witch attending Hogwarts - preferably one who survived the final battle, thanks. I also always ask if I can be Draco Malfoy's wife. I can't help it! Though I don't think I'd ever name my son Scorpius, thanks. I get visions of a black-leather-wearing dominatrix-looking boy, a la the Farscape series. If you've seen it, you so know what I mean!
But how about something a little different this time around? Yes, Harry Potter will always be my first choice, but just to make it interesting tonight! I think all of my Follow Me Friday answers so far have had something to do with Harry Potter! So...
Maybe a love interest for Puck in The Iron Fey series? Or the love interest for Hector in Starcrossed? I'm noticing a theme here! Huh. I'm a romance junkie. Cast me in a Harlequin type Regency romance where I'm the smart, sassy, not-so-damsel-in-distress who wins the heart of the rake after many - MANY - steamy interludes, and I'm set!
EDIT: I've been thinking about this, and I've decided on another option. Still Harry Potter...it'll re-write The Deathly Hallows, but my role is to save Severus Snape! Yes? Yes!
How about you? What book and role would you choose?
